toyonstudio LLC was formed in 2008 by John Baran, ASLA. John holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Cornell University, and for 5 years worked under the guidance of successful landscape architects at established firms in Santa Barbara. Finally, in 2008, he decided it was time to form his own company. His undergraduate degree in environmental sciences provides a solid foundation for practice in the field of landscape architecture.
toyonstudio strives to create landscapes that are aesthetically beautiful, sustainable and environmentally responsible.
